ERNIE CARUSO, started racing in the 60's finding a great deal of success at the Riverside Park Speedway between 1968 and 1970 where he won 5 features. One of the nice guys of the sport, Ernie always went out of his way give a helping hand to others. Ernie was a familiar fixture at tracks around New England in his own #14 Modifieds in the 60's and 70's competing successfully at Stafford Motor Speedway, Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds, Plainville Stadium and Thompson Speedways, besides other Northeast Raceways.
