Fred Alkas, the
Youngest of the 3 Racing Alkas Brothers, started racing at the Plainville
Stadium in the early 70's. Though not as big a winner as brother Dave,
Fred won his share of races over the years.
Fred pretty much made Plainville Stadium his home track, but ventured to the
Waterford Speedbowl after the closing of Plainville in the early 80's.
