CAMBINO

Johnny Cambino received his title "King" Cambino
because of his exploits at the West Haven Speedway in the 50's and 60's, where
he won several Championships and many wins. When West Haven closed in 1967
Johnny, always loyal to Harvey Tattersall and United, became a regular at
Riverside Park Speedway in 1968 winning the Riverside 500 teamed with Jack
Lecuyer. John left Riverside when it went NASCAR after the 1975 season and
followed United to the Waterford Speedbowl. John came out of retirement in
the early 90's while in his 60's to compete in the Strictly Stocks at the
Speedbowl winning several features before his final retirement in the late 90's.
