Jon Manafort started racing in the mid-60's in Plainville Stadium's Sportsman (Then Called Novice) Division picking up many wins.  Going on to the Modifieds Jon picked a bunch of wins in the 70's behind the wheel of the Farone #28 before leaving racing help run the family business. Jon came out of retirement in the late 80's to drive a Pro Stock at Stafford Speedway for awhile. Now the owner of a Connecticut Marina, Jon is most often found on his yacht.
