Those in the late 60's and 70's remember Lou Carangelo as one of the star drivers at the Riverside Park Speedway. Lou started his career at the West Haven Speedway and is shown here after a Plainville Stadium win where he was the Modified Champion in 1961.  The Godio's 6 cylinder regularly beat the bigger V8 engines.
