Ronnie
Wycoff started his
racing career in the Sportsman Division at Plainville Stadium in the early to
mid 60's the #88 is one of Ron's first Plainville Sportsman Cars, if not the
first. Ron then went on to drive Eddie Mack's #95 Sportsman before both
Eddie and Ron moved on to the Modifieds where Ronnie drove the Ed Mack #95 to
many victories before moving on to other tracks and driving some of the top
Modifieds of the era, including the Simon's #9 and Czarnecki's
#20.
Ron
was one of the many drivers who raced the Ron Berndt owned #54's and besides
Plainville Stadium he competed at most of the Northeast Tracks including
Stafford, Thompson, Seekonk, Waterford and Riverside Park Speedway where his 7
feature victories places him 34th on the All-Time Riverside win list.
