One of the real gentleman of racing, Mr. Nice Guy, Stan Greger started his racing career in 1971 at Plainville Stadium where he compiled over 30 victories and finished second in the Modified Championship twice before moving on  to Riverside Park Speedway in 1975 behind the wheel of the Rich "Jarb"  Beaudoin #500.  Stan was a regular at Riverside for the next 16 years driving some of the top cars of the period and winning the Riverside Modified Championship three times, 1978, 1981 and 1983.  Stan is 4th on the all-time Riverside Park Speedway wins list with 38 wins, behind racing legends Reggie Ruggiero, Billy Greco and Buddy Krebs and is in the Riverside Park Speedway Hall-of-Fame.  Stan has over 100 career wins at various tracks in New England including Stafford Speedway.  Stan left racing after the 1994 season when legendary car owner Bob Judkins decided to retire and move to Florida.  Stan was the last driver of the famed #2x driven for 4 decades by some of the legends of Modified Racing including, Ed Flemke, Sr., Gene Bergin, Ron Bouchard, Reggie Ruggiero, Jerry Marquis, Kenny Shoemaker, Jim Hurtibise, Tony Mordino, Jerry Wheeler and a host of other great drivers.
